The remaster looks better but idk I still kinda prefer the old one. On PC it still looks amazing.

I used to think the original was the realist looking thing ever
I wish newer games had formulas like this. For example fc3, or any mw up to 3. Those stories, and how they are executed even in the cut scenes are pure gold. Something about today's games feels like that classic touch is missing. That's why I love these remasters. There are older ubisoft games, or even bethesda games that still have that magic touch to how its executed. Everything today feels way too polished and smooth while also containing a decent but not great story, or even execution.

to me, original cod 4 looked like the current remastered version

The lighting of the original is better than the remastered without a doubt.
The original Call Of Duty 4 looks pretty good considering how old it is, in my opinion this Call Of Duty was the one that marked a before and after in the entire series (the 3 looks considerably worse).
